This work-in-progress explores deepfake technology as a post-cinematic form of immersive and interactive cinema. Through AI-generated face replacement, participants are inserted into film sequences, transforming the spectator from a distant viewer into an active presence within the moving image. Positioned between cinema, simulation and interactive media, the project investigates how emerging digital image technologies are reshaping cinematic experience through immersion, participation and synthetic embodiment.
